This case study will walk you through the process we undertook to create Kiki’s timeless bridal look, and how we achieved a stunning result that complemented her beautiful beachside wedding in Lancashire.

When Kiki first reached out to me, she had already explored my bridal hair and makeup portfolio and was drawn to the “soft, subtle, and elegant” bridal looks that I’m best known for. Her wedding was set against the stunning backdrop of a seaside location, and she wanted a look that was both glamorous and natural, allowing her features to shine without feeling overdone.
We discussed her preferences in detail, considering her skin tone, hair texture, and the overall aesthetic of her wedding. My beautiful brides’ vision was clear, Kiki wanted her bridal makeup to be minimal yet impactful, with a focus on enhancing her natural beauty. For her hair, she envisioned loose waves that would sway gently in the coastal breeze, adding to the romantic feel of the day. With this vision in mind, we began planning her bridal trial and I was so excited to see her dream bridal look come to life.

During Kiki’s bridal trial, we took the time to experiment with different makeup looks and hairstyles to find the perfect combination that would suit her vision and withstand the elements of a beachside wedding. Bridal trials are essential because they allow us to refine the look, ensuring that every detail is just right for the big day!
For Kiki’s makeup, we opted for a flawless, natural complexion using premium products that provide excellent coverage without feeling heavy – my signature bridal makeup look and style. We used Face Atelier foundation, which is known for its lightweight and long-lasting finish. To add a soft, romantic glow, we focused on subtle highlights and blush that enhanced Kiki’s natural features without overpowering them. Her lips were the star of the show, with MAC’s Smoked Almond lipstick providing a beautiful, soft colour that complemented her overall look. This is one of my favourite lipstick shades, ever.
When it came to her hair, we started with tighter curls, knowing that they would gradually soften into loose waves. This approach ensured that her hair would maintain its shape and elegance, even in the seaside breeze. The result was a style that was both timeless and effortless, perfectly suited to the relaxed, romantic vibe of her wedding.
