Hi, I’m Sophie

I was born and raised in the North West, in Lancashire, and you can currently find me in Freckleton – the lovely little village of Music and Flowers.

My first love will always be make up – not only the beauty you can create, but also the fun it can be and the way it can make you feel.

Besides this, I am a cat lady, a Disney lover, and I’m attracted to glitz and glam and all things sparkly… like a magpie!

In the early days before my training, I was asked by friends to create hair and make up looks for events such as birthday parties, baby showers, and trips to the races. Their events got bigger, and it quickly snow-balled into hiring me to create bridal looks on their wedding days.

I knew this was the industry for me after my first wedding, and now I’d say I was obsessed!

I specialise in naturally enhancing your beauty using make up, and seeing a bride, the mother of the bride, and her bridesmaids all glow with happiness when they see their reflections – it fills me with so much joy!

I am a hopeless romantic, and it is such an honour to be part of a brides special day.

WHERE DID YOUR HAIR AND MAKEUP JOURNEY BEGIN?

 

I started hairdressing training aged 16, completed my NVQ3, and spent years working in salons. I even ran a barbers once!

Always striving for more, I competed in regional, national and international competitions, even representing Great Britain at the OMC World Cup in Chicago.

I achieved so much, but I knew something was missing. Once I discovered my love for make up, I threw myself into education again. I trained with Louise, KLMA makeup academy, celebrity makeup artist Cassie Lomas fine-tuning my skills for bridal make up.
